What is Misfitsbox?
Misfitsbox is a website where customer gets high quality produce at almost 35-55% than the regular grocery stores. We want to finish food waste by finding a home for improper produce. We source it directly from farms and deliver it to customers' doors. Our subscription Misfitsbox is affordable, convenient, healthy, and delicious.
Do you offer any discount?
Yes! Misfits Box provides FLAT 50% off on your first order of all boxes instead organic boxes. For getting 50% off you need to apply the coupon code (FLAT50) on the checkout page.
What type of produce will be in box?
Certainly it depends upon seasonal availability. Veggies can include but not limited to cauliflower, red onions, broccoli, cabbage, Green onions, peppers, tomatoes, asparagus, baby artichokes, Green beans, corn, carrots, lettuces, leeks cucumber etc. In Fruits, it can include Oranges, Apples, Kiwis, Pears and seasonal fruits like peaches, plums etc. We recommend you to place the temperature sensitive produce in refrigeration as soon as you receive them.

We deliver in Toronto (GTA) and Surrounding Area
What are your delivery charges?
We charge flat delivery fee $4.99.
What day(s) & time do you deliver?
We deliver every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. All deliveries occur between 12pm to 6 pm.
What is the cancellation or change deadline?
Orders must be canceled or changed by Sunday midnight in order to be processed for the upcoming week. Changes or cancellations made after Sunday will not be applied until the following week.
Are there any commitments if I subscribe with you?
There are no commitments at all. You can cancel, skip or pause the subscription at any time.
What if I am not at home during delivery?
Don’t worry; we will follow your instructions. You can email us your instructions firstname.lastname@example.org or make a note during checkout process.
Do you deliver to P.O. Boxes?
Due to perishable produce we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. We recommend you to have shipping at home or work place.
Which forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Master cards etc.
I have an allergy. Can you omit certain items from my box?
We are aware that many customers may have allergic reactions to some foods. You can simply email us your allergic vegetables or fruits email@example.com so that we can update it same to our packaging team.
How do I activate my account?
After first ordering from our website, you will get account activation email instantly. Simply opened that email and click on “Activate Your Account” button. After activate your account you will be able to skip, pause or cancel your future orders and also can change delivery address, order frequency according to your comfort.
When will you charge me for subscription?
We will charge you at the time when you will create first order and for next upcoming orders charge will your credit card on Sunday prior to your delivery for a given week (Wednesday through Friday). If you want make any changes in box size or box type please update by Saturday prior to your next charge date.
Can I skip Misfits Box delivery?
Off course, if you’re going anywhere or need to take a week off, it’s easy to skip future orders. Simply log into your account and click Manage Subscription, find the delivery you don’t want, and then click on Skip Delivery. Charge was skipped at the top of your account page. Clicking Unskip will put that order back into rotation and ensures it will be fulfilled. You can resume deliveries for any skipped dates by clicking Unskip Delivery; you'll see the notification Success! Charge was un-skipped to know that your delivery is back on the schedule. If you need help in assisting delivery, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I pause Misfits Box subscription?
Yes, you can easily pause your subscription anytime. In your account, click Manage Subscription, click the Pause Subscription button, and your subscription has been paused. To resume your subscription, simply click Resume Subscription.
Do you offer bi-weekly subscription?
Yes, if you find Misfitsbox is more than suffice for you, then you can change subscription into bi-weekly.
Can I Customize my Misfitsbox?
Currently customization is unavailable for customers. You can email us your instructions, so that we can manage it accordingly email@example.com
Do you deliver to offices too?
Yes, we do deliver to offices too.
How do you package your produce?
We use simple cardboard boxes to pack the food. For some products such as tomatoes, cherries etc, we have to use small packaging to make sure they remain good in cardboard boxes.
What happens if there is an issue with my order or have a question about my delivery?
If you ever have an issue with your order or have a question about your delivery, please don’t hesitate to reach out us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will get back with you as soon as we can.
Does Misfitsbox produce taste same as normal produce?
Our sourced produce is not used by stores as some of them are big or small in size, wrong color or misshapen. We only source healthy and nutritious produce despite of its outer look.
Can I pause or cancel my order on delivery date?
No, if you want to do any changes in your upcoming order you have to change it before Sunday midnight. Remember that the change deadline is always Sunday at midnight, so if you change your account after Sunday, the change in frequency won't apply until the following week.
Where do you source your organic produce?
We source organic produce first from local farms. If not available we source from the USA.
My box didn't arrive yet. Or I have a question about the timing or placement of my delivery?
Boxes are delivered between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m. on your scheduled delivery day. All questions regarding the timing of your delivery should be directed to us at email@example.com. If your box didn't arrive when it was scheduled to come, please also email us at this address and we will create a solution for getting you a new box ASAP.
Do you offer discounts for referrals?
Yes! In our referral program each time a new customer uses your referral code at checkout, they'll get 50% off that's good for their first box, and you'll get a reward you can apply to any future order. Rewards change from time to time; currently, each person you refer to Misfits Box who makes a qualified purchase will get 50% off their first box and you'll get 50% off a future box. You will automatically be issued a referral discount which will be applied to your account without you having to do anything at all. Thanks for helping us spread the word!
